La Dolce Vita - Michael Lucas
Lucas Entertainment succesfully fought off a copyright lawsuit over its 2006 gay porn epic La Dolce Vita.
A company called International Media Films claimed to hold the rights to Fellini’s 1960 masterpiece La Dolce Vita and sued Lucas for copyright infringement. Lucas defended its right to produce its own version. In the end, the judge ruled that IMF did not actually hold any rights to Fellini’s original.
Michael Lucas gloated, “Of course I can only guess at my opponents’ motivations, but if they thought that they could get a quick payday by walking all over a porn company, they were sorely mistaken.” Do not fuck with Michael Lucas, muthafuckas.
